Couple of notes
Hey, wonderfull application you got here. Much better then the free ones I’ve used before. Though there are a couple of things I think could be improved.
If you set different backgrounds for different desktops they only change after the transition effect has passed. This is quite dull and makes an otherwise really cool feature a bit unpracticle since you can’t quickly move between desktops and see in which one you’re in by judging the background. Perhaps you could cache a screenshot of the next desktop before the transition?
Sometimes the menu bar items get overlayed by other applications.
Maybe you could add a feature which allows windows to excist partially in one desktop and partially in another so you can drag windows between desktops.
The dialog to set up desktops should be part of the preferences menu, IMHO. Ideally intergrated with the trigger menu.
The mouse/keyboard option in the trigger menu(preferences) is hard to get and the icons should be replaced by plain text.
The “Active Layout” Drop-down in Layout&Pagers is Dead-UI and should be removed.
Use of the ‘desktop templates’ is hard to get, should be removed or implemented in the ‘Inspection > Desktops’ menu, (see: note about that dialog)
So that;s just the things I can complain about for now, I’ll come back when I have more ;) keep up the good work!
